Position: Design Engineer – Fire safety
Salary: >£55k DOE
Location: West Yorkshire
TSR are looking for a Design Engineer – Fire safety to work with a well-established fire safety company based in West Yorkshire. You will be joining a strong Design Team, this position is perfect for someone with previous experience or a Design Engineer who is looking to gain experience and grow with in an existing team with common goals.
Key Responsibilities for the Design Engineer – Fire safety
* Knowledge of LPC Rules/ BS EN 12845 and BS9251
* Proficient in AutoCAD, Canute FHC and the Microsoft Office suite of products.
* Ability to read and effectively interpret architectural/engineering plans.
* Excellent communications skills and ability to work to/ adapt to changing deadlines.
* Ability to work well under pressure.
* Knowledge/ Experience of Revit and Navisworks
* LPCB Basic Design Competency Exam
* Knowledge of NFPA/ FM codes
* Hold a UK Driving Licence
