Company Overview:
Coinford is a groundworks and concrete frame specialist that delivers contracts ranging from £1million to £50million throughout London and the South East of England. This role works out of our Plant Yard, Redehall Industrial Park, Burstow.
Role Purpose/Objective:
To promptly an efficiently order parts for the fleet, to ensure all purchases are made cost efficiently. To manage stock levels and ensure fast moving popular parts are always available, to ensure fleet downtime is kept to a minimum.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure all parts are ordered in a timely manner.
* Ensure good parts identification, to make sure correct parts are ordered.
* Ensure best price is always paid, obtain comparison prices where required.
* Ensure all incorrect or unwanted parts are returned for credit, ensure appropriate credits are received.
* Ensure all orders arrive on time, chase suppliers if any delays.
* Understand the importance of minimising machine downtime.
* Purchase all vehicle parts for the in-house garage.
* Check goods in and raise any issues with the supplier immediately.
* Liaise with Supervisors, to ensure all parts have been ordered and any delays have been communicated to the relevant department and sites.
* Raise purchase orders on Syrinx, including full descriptions and price.
* Scan all invoices and delivery notes on to Syrinx
* Add parts and costs to open fitters jobs on Syrinx
* Carry out regular stock checks in stores and in workshop.
* Book stock items to fitters vans
* Ensure service kits and oils are available for mobile service fitters.
* Maintain a well-stocked and efficient store area.
* Maintain a good level of workshop consumables.
* Maintain good housekeeping in stores area.
* Maintain a good working relationship with supervisors and managers.
* Maintain good relationships with suppliers.
* The use of Syrinx to ensure efficient management of parts purchasing – description of articles.

Qualifications:
