Banking and Finance Associate - Southampton - £60-£66k DOE

Our client, a leading legal firm, is currently seeking an ambitious Solicitor or Associate to join their growing Banking & Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment, with the flexibility of working from various offices or remotely.

As a Solicitor or Associate in the Banking & Finance team, you will be involved in a wide range of borrower and lender side transactions, right from structuring to completion. This includes acquisition finance, real estate finance, bank panel transactions, and supporting the corporate and R&I teams on various deals. You will have the opportunity to work closely with clients, handle high-quality work, and contribute to the development of more junior lawyers and trainees.

A key aspect of this role is developing and maintaining client relationships, as well as driving business development initiatives. You will be expected to provide bespoke solutions to clients, taking into account their specific challenges and needs. Our client will provide the necessary support for you to enhance your networking and client-facing skills, while also strengthening your technical expertise.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Banking & Finance practise and be comfortable working under pressure to meet deadlines.
