Job Title: Civil Engineering Quantity Surveyor (Marine and Coastal Projects)

Location: Site-based & Hybrid

Are seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing costs, contracts, and financial aspects of marine and coastal projects. Your expertise will contribute to the successful delivery of critical infrastructure projects that impact our environment and communities.

Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.

* Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts for marine and coastal projects.

* Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and measurements.

* Evaluate subcontractor bids and negotiate contracts.

* Monitor project costs, track variations, and manage change orders.

* Ensure compliance with contractual terms, regulations, and industry standards.

* Assess risks and implement effective cost control measures.

* Provide timely reports on project financial status to senior management.

* Participate in project meetings and contribute to decision-making processes.

* Foster strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in marine and coastal projects.

* Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools.

* Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.

* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

* Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
