Area Cleaning Manager

If so, you should apply for our position of Area Cleaning Manager for our contract with Hampshire County Council:

The Role: 
40 hours per week, mainly Monday to Friday.
£30,000 to £30,900 per annum DOE plus a company van.
The area: around 50 council sites (libraries, fire stations, country parks etc.) in Havant, Petersfield, Liphook, Alton and Basingstoke.
The team: about 90 cleaners.

As one of our Area Cleaning Managers on our contract with Hampshire County Council, you’ll mainly be looking after your team of cleaners on the different sites. Depending on the set up of each site there will be a team of between 1 and 11 cleaning colleagues.

Your role will be to ensure that your team has all the tools they need to thrive in their job and help us provide clean, hygienic and safe environments for Hampshire County Council. This includes recruiting, onboarding, and training your team as well as looking after their motivation, wellbeing, and performance. You will also be responsible for ordering the stock for each site, carrying out regular site audits and completing timesheets to make sure everyone is paid the correct wages every month.

You will be working closely with two other Area Cleaning Managers for the contract and report into the Service Manager for the area.
