Location: Portsmouth

Salary: £35,000 + 3,432 (Shift Allowance).

A fantastic opportunity to work for a leading facilities maintenance service provider has come up, they are recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to come and work on one of their long-standing contracts based in Portsmouth covering a healthcare site.

You will be required to work -

* 37.5 hours per week

* Shift pattern – week 1&2 (7.30 – 16.15 Mon – Fri)

* Week 3 (Thu – Sat)

* Week 4 (Mon-wed)

* 24 days annual leave (+ public holidays)

Duties

You will be required to complete scheduled PPM and reactive maintenance in maintaining site assets ensuring equipment availability, to perform higher level technical fault finding and repairs. You will be responsible for performing operational checks and first line repairs of building technology systems. Identify then estimate repair or project works conforming to best practice and regulations, plus complete repair/project works when delegated. You should have experience with mechanical and electrical services, fault finding and repairs to standard installations in small offices up to large commercial buildings.

* Control Panels

* Lighting

* Emergency lighting tests

* Single and Three phrase

* AHU and FCU maintenance .

* Small installation, Fault-finding,

* Pressurisation units: service and repair of closed system pressurisation units.

* HVAC plant

* Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)

* Chillers - Re-set

* Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, changing taps, seals etc

* BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)

* UPS Systems - Monitor / Take readings

The successful candidate must have:

* The ideal candidate will have the relevant qualifications –City & Guilds electrical level 3 installation or equivalent

* With at least 5 years experience in Electrical & Mechanical services in the building services trade

* 17th/18th edition preferably

* Must be well presented with good interpersonal skills as this is a client facing role
