Electrical Engineer

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Panel wirer / Electrical engineer to join an established business who are leading suppliers of electrical power distribution equipment.

Job Description:

Producing the arrangements for our products and working within the Engineering Team's procedural framework to ensure all design requirements are met. Key areas include:
Issuing marshalling & wiring schematics to client specifications
Developing and maintaining component libraries
Supporting the mechanical engineers where required
Maintaining standard designs
Investigating new technologies
Working closely with the fitting department to improve output to internal customersBeneficial Skills / Qualifications:

Knowledge & understanding of relay logic
Ability to read and draw electrical schematics
Relevant Electrical Engineering qualification
Fault finding skills
Panel wiring experience
Previous experience of transformers would be ideal but not essential
AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical experience would be ideal but not essential
Autodesk Inventor experience would be ideal but not essential
Organised with good communication skills.
A sound knowledge of engineering design principles
and I.T. skills
Good problem-solving skills
The ability to meet deadlines
Attention to detailAdditional Details:

Salary - £35,000 - £45000
5 days on site - no hybrid working
Hours - 8:30am - 4:45pm - 3:30pm finish on Friday
25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays
