Job Description
As Corporate Counsel, you'll play a vital role in supporting our dynamic business by providing expert legal guidance and support across our various business units and affiliated entities. We're seeking a dedicated professional with extensive experience in real estate service contracts who thrives in a collaborative environment and possesses the acumen to navigate complex legal matters with precision and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate a diverse range of real estate service contracts essential to Stream's operations, including non-disclosure agreements, property management agreements, listing agreements, tenant/buyer representation agreements, cooperating broker agreements, commission agreements, project/construction management agreements and more.
Ensure contracts are processed efficiently while minimizing risk exposure, utilizing sound business judgment and legal expertise.
Provide strategic legal advice on non-standard contract terms and associated risks to stakeholders across the organization.
Interpret and communicate contract requirements and obligations clearly and effectively to relevant parties.
Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contract negotiations and execution.
