About The Role
Currie & Brown is looking for an Apprentice Project Manager to join our Bristol office.  The successful candidate will work on some of the most exciting construction projects and join a team delivering benefits and a lasting legacy for the communities in which we live and work. You will be given training and development opportunities so you can develop and support project leaders in generating a high standard of knowledge across service delivery, achieving successful outcomes for our clients, enhancing our culture of innovation and reinforcing our reputation as a preferred service provider.
The successful applicant will attend university 1 day per week to gain a degree in quantity surveying, while working in the office for the rest of the week. You will therefore need to have the prerequisite school or college qualifications to gain entry onto a university course to study a BSc quantity surveying degree.
Responsibilities;
Ensuring that Currie & Brown policies are understood, implemented and adhered
Assisting with the updating of project schedules
Assisting in the preparation of site assessments, due diligence reports, cost reports, project control group reports, construction reports and completion reports
Supporting in the management and preparation of fees
Verifying invoices, quality for work and preparing asset capitalisation of related works
Supporting the line manager in reviewing the job costing system for assessment of project performance
Supporting the project manager to deliver plans for projects on time and within budget
Assisting in the preparation of monthly project review report for discussion and review by line manager
Ensuring that service provision is of the highest professional standardRequirements:

Working towards a BSc quantity surveying degree
Passionate about project management and furthering your career with a leading construction consultancy
Reasonable technical writing skills, knowledge in reading drawings and tender document, etc
