Fitter Assembler
Up to £14.50p/hr (£30k p/a) DOE; DN3; M-F 8am-5:00pm (4.30pm finish on Fridays)
Fitter Assembler, duties:
Assembling engineering machinery equipment to a high standard
Reading and working in line with engineering drawings
Safely and effectively using workshop tools (both hand and power)
Using a range of welding techniques, precision measuring equipment and troubleshooting
Setting and operating a range of machines including bending equipment, hydraulic press, wire machine and band saw
Plan the work required to complete the job, selecting appropriate machine and loading safely
Fitter Assembler, requirements:
Applicants must have experience in a fitting role with basic mechanical engineering knowledge
Ideally you will have completed an apprenticeship or have an engineering qualification such as Mechanical Engineering level 1, 2 or 3 and rates of pay will depend on level and experience
Experience of using manual and semi-automated tools and machines
Competency with welding techniques

Our client design, manufacture and install manual handling equipment and are keen to strengthen their production team. The order books are full and there is long term development potential
Benefits include pay rate of up to £14.5p/hr (£30k) depending on experience and paid monthly
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm, finishing at 4.30pm on Fridays
Holidays: 20 plus stats increases to 25 plus stats over time
