Field of activity

The IT department of Deutsche Rentenversicherung Bund maintains a highly complex and diverse IT landscape. The IT Infrastructure division provides the technical environment for the central IT processes and software development of the DRV- Bund. Our team is responsible for the development, implementation and operation of security solutions and IT security gateways.

Your tasks

• Planning and provision of IT security infrastructures (including firewalls)
• Monitoring IT security components, including error analysis and troubleshooting
• Planning, conceptualizing and documenting IT operating procedures and processing difficult customer requirements
• Developing, implementing and monitoring IT security and IT quality assurance measures
• General participation in on-call duty as well as flexible working hours, in urgent cases also outside the working hours regulated in the service agreement (for example at weekends)

Your profile

• Completed vocational training in the IT sector or completed comparable IT training or further training or comparable professional qualifications with at least initial professional experience or a completed university education (Bachelor's degree, Diploma FH) in the IT sector
• Good knowledge of current firewall systems, threat risks and
  
  attack scenarios in IT security
• Sound knowledge of the installation, administration and configuration of
  
  IT security components as well as in detecting, analyzing and eliminating
  error states (including firewall systems, security proxies within the P-A-P structure or web application firewalls)
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Internet protocol family: SSL, HTTP, SMTP, SSH,
  
  FTP as well as in script programming (e.g. with Python, shell scripting or
  Perl)
• Good written and spoken German skills
• Initial experience with automation tools such as Ansible or Tufin is desirable
• Ideally knowledge in the application of IT baseline protection standards
• An agile mindset and strong communication and teamwork skills round off your profile
