The Company:

My client, who provide Acoustic Consultancy services across all areas of the built environment, are looking for a Graduate Acoustic Consultant to join their team in Bristol. They are part of a larger consultancy group who strive to deliver sustainable designs. Some of their other groups include Energy, Software, and Testing. As a Graduate Acoustic Consultant, you will be trained to deliver your own skills in all sectors of the company.

Role responsibilities include:

Collecting acoustical data and computer modelling, using CATT, Odeon, INSUL, Cadna/A, Revit, and other software modelling tools.
Liaising with key professionals.
Providing noise and vibration solutions, according to Building Regulations, Building Bulletins, and British and International Standards.
Preparing accurate technical reports, according to company training.

Ideal candidate will need:

A degree in either Acoustics or Physics. An Engineering degree, involving Acoustics modules, will also be considered.
A motivated attitude and be able to learn quickly.
An interest in coding and script writing.
Experience using Acoustic modelling software (e.g., AutoCAD, Cadna).
Keen to become a member of the Institute of Acoustics.
UK driver's license.
