Copello have partnered with a UK defence contractor in the recruitment of a Senior Electronics Engineer. You will be joining a company who are specialists in the design, development, integration, and through-life support of state-of-the-art communications and electronic systems. As Senior Electronics Engineer, you'll be entering the company during an incredibly exciting phase, as this project stands as one of their most lucrative to date.
To be considered for this position, the requirements are as follows:
* Strong engineering background in Electronics (safety critical is highly advantageous).
* Proficiency in the complete design and evaluation of digital and analogue circuits.
* Ability to manage design responsibilities across both equipment and system levels.
* Skilled in ensuring technical specifications are upheld throughout the design process.
* Experience in electronic product design, including adherence to regulatory standards.
* Excellent communication abilities for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
* Exposure/experience with either IEC 61508, DEFSTAN -0055, IEC 26262, IEC 62304, EN 50128 and Safety integrity levels 1-4.
* Experience in: Enterprise Architect, Orcad or similar
* Prior experience with MOD clientele and equipment test standards (desirable)
* Familiarity with safety-critical or mission-critical systems (desirable)
