CNC Miller Machinist

2BM Recruitment Ltd are working in partnership with a supplier of products for the oil and gas industry, to recruit a CNC Miller Machinist for their Stockport site on a permanent contract. The organisation, who are seeking a qualified and skilled CNC Milling Machinist to join their team have experience on a global scale, with innovation and investment into new technology.

* Salary circa £36k - £37k (Depending on experience & skills)

* Days only, Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm & Fridays 7am to 1pm.

The CNC Milling Machinist will report to the Manufacturing Lead and be responsible for setting and operating CNC machines to manufacture components from engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

* Manufacture components to company quality procedures.

* Self-inspection of products using a range of measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers etc)

We’re extremely keen to talk to CNC Machinists in Milling / CNC Millers / CNC Setter Operators that are apprenticeship or similar qualified, or with proven work experience:

* Ability to set and operate CNC Milling machines.

* Ability to edit and prove out CNC programs / CNC Proofing.

* Experience with Fanuc controls would be an advantage.

* Sound knowledge of geometrical tolerances.

* Able to maintain a high level of housekeeping and follow the 5S program.
