Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant
 
Are you a recent psychology graduate who’s searching for an opportunity in which you can gain valuable experience of working alongside SEN pupils to aid in a successful child-oriented career?
 
*** Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant
*** Wolverhampton
*** £80- £90 per day
*** September 2024- July 2025
*** Providing 1-2-1 and small group support to pupils with slight Autism and ADHD.
*** ’Outstanding’ primary school.
 
Requirements:

At least a bachelor’s degree in psychology, or a related subject.
A passion for the education and wellbeing of SEN children.
Commitment to following safeguarding procedures and policies.
A natural ability to build strong bonds with young children.
Some understanding of additional learning needs.
Previous experience of working with pupils, or in a school setting, is beneficial but not mandatory. 
The Role:

Assisting teaching staff in various tasks, including the planning and delivery of engaging lessons.
Assessing classwork and monitoring pupil progress.
Formulating personalised support strategies.
Providing high-quality support to pupils in the school’s inclusion unit.
Participating in staff meetings and parents’ evenings.
