Job Description
What you will do in this role:
You will work closely with our DON to develop & implement the infection control program (ICP) in accordance with current IDPH regulations for our SNF environment.
You will ensure compliance with current CDC, OSHA, and local regulations to provide staff education and training as needed.
You will need to perform Infection (ICP) Surveillance; tracking & trending and developing action plans accordingly.
You will lead the weekly Infection Control QAPI meetings and routinely monitor antibiotics usage & physician prescribing practices.
You will work the floor as needed.
