Security Installation Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Security Installation Engineer to join our family owned and managed client based in Chippenham. You need to be comfortable staying away on occasions to complete installations.
The role:
Their Service Engineers are responsible for maintaining all security systems in line with customer requirements and current standards. You will deliver a world class customer service to their valued clients ensuring that the work is completed to an exceptional standard.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
* Servicing and maintaining various intruder, CCTV, and access control systems.
* Installation of various intruder, CCTV, and access control systems
* Demonstrate systems for customers and explain details such as the causes and consequences of false alarms.
* Carry out corrective and preventative maintenance of fire alarm systems and all other security systems
* Understanding the clients’ needs and fulfilling all jobs required
* Maintaining fire & security systems in line with current standards and customer requirements
* Responding to demand service calls on all types of fire and security systems
* Completing all provided documentation including site schematics/drawings
* Carrying out annual service visits and responding to incoming faults raised
The Ideal Candidate
* Experience as a multi-disciplined engineer with a good all-round knowledge of Fire (preferred) and Security Systems
* The ability to work to deadlines
* A great communicator
* Experience of front-line customer service will be preferential
* A full UK Driving Licence
* You must be flexible to travel and be part of an on-call rota.

* Previous experience is essential.
Additional Info
Due to the nature of the Fire & Security industry and specific contracts, several background checks will need to be done including a credit check, five-year referencing history and DBS check.
