Job Opportunity: Part-Time Year 2 Teacher
Location: South Sheffield Primary School
Start Date: 2nd September 2024
Hours: Part-time, 3 days a week (Monday to Wednesday)
Contract: Fixed-term for one year to cover maternity leave
We are seeking a dedicated part-time Year 2 Teacher to join our vibrant team at a primary school in South Sheffield. As a Year 2 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of our young learners, undertaking full teacher responsibilities including planning, teaching, and assessment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of Year 2 students.
Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic and personal growth.
Implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress and inform future teaching.
Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall development of the school curriculum.
Maintain open communication with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for this role.
Applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome.
Experience working with Year 2 students or within a primary school setting is advantageous.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
