Job Description
The Master Scheduler Lead is responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining a comprehensive scheduling system for manufacturing operations. This pivotal role involves coordinating with various departments to ensure that production schedules and supply activities align with customer demands, inventory levels, and capacity constraints. The Master Scheduler Lead plays a critical role in optimizing production efficiency, minimizing costs, and ensuring timely delivery of products. Creating a master schedule for all facilities within the Infor Advanced Scheduling and Supply umbrellas; and work directly with the locations on implementation and execution. This position reports to the VP of Integrated Business Planning. 
Lead of the Infor Advanced Scheduling tool for Project thrive.
Lead, mentor scheduling staff, providing guidance on best practices in scheduling and inventory management
Evaluate schedules, shipping destinations, product runs, for cost reduction and optimization.
Travel to sites as needed for training and system needs. Work closely with cross functional teams to identify and implement opportunities to drive.
improvements across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People.
Collaborate with production, sales, procurement, and logistics departments to create a cohesive and realistic schedule that meets all parties' needs.
Prepare and present reports on scheduling performance, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement to senior management.
Make suggestions for changes to the product mix based on cost, availability, and supply.
Handle all system requirements, programming, inputs, outputs, and issues within the advance planning tool from Infor
 Create reports and analytical data on schedule adherence, efficiency, and other KPI.
Develop and implement a detailed production schedule that aligns with customer demands, inventory objectives, and production capacity.
Analyze and forecast demand for products to ensure optimal inventory levels and efficient production planning.
Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to review production schedules, address any issues, and make adjustments as needed.
Competencies
Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.Excellent skills specifically related to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint), PowerBI and ERP Systems.
Ability to solve complex problems through decision making, extensive research, analysis and evaluation of multiple variables.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with proven ability working with all types of individuals from corporate to plant. Experience challenging business units and other departments on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans with specific focus on end-to-end execution and impact on downstream processes/systems.
