As THA expands its impact, we seek a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill a new, multi-faceted leadership role responsible for overseeing and integrating administrative operations across the domains of human resources, compliance, provider credentialing, corporate governance, and facilities management.  Reporting directly to the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer, and in collaboration with other senior leaders across the organization, the VP of Administration provides strategic guidance and operational oversight to drive efficiency, mitigate risks, and create an optimal administrative infrastructure to support the organization's mission. 
This is a full-time, exempt position. Remote work is allowed, but the incumbent must reside in the state of Texas and will be expected to attend meetings and perform certain portions of essential duties on-site at our administrative headquarters in Austin, Texas. Based on this need for regular presence on-site, the ideal candidate will live in the Central Texas or San Antonio regions. Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources Leadership 
Through the supervision of the Director of Talent & Culture, oversee all people operations including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, employee relations, training, HRIS, and HR compliance 
Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs to attract, develop and retain top talent 
Foster an engaged and inclusive culture aligned with the organization's mission and values 
Provide guidance to agency leaders on workforce planning, succession, and organizational design 
Enterprise Risk Management & Compliance 
Through supervision of the Enterprise Risk & Compliance Manager, establish and maintain an effective enterprise risk management and compliance program 
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, standards and organizational policies 
Lead risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies and implement monitoring controls 
Oversee compliance training, auditing, investigations and committee/board reporting 
Facilities Management 
Guide the planning and maintenance for all facilities and office locations 
Manage projects related to renovations, relocations, and expansions 
Ensure safety, security, efficiency and sustainability across all facility operations 
Oversee procurement and management of facilities vendors, suppliers and service providers 
Provider Credentialing 
Oversee provider credentialing processes to ensure proper licensing and qualifications 
Maintain current credentialing policies and procedures aligned with regulations 
Manage the credentialing verification process and committee approval workflows 
Ensure credentialing files are complete, accurate and adhere to standards 
Corporate Governance & Board Relations 
In partnership with the Executive Team, serve as administrative liaison to the Board of Directors and Board committees  
Supervise the board meeting logistics, materials preparation, completion of meeting minutes, and tracking of action items or other required follow-up. 
Maintain corporate records, policies and governance documents including the submission of required filings 
Leadership & Strategy 
Build and mentor a high-performing team. 
Manage resources and workflow across the administrative portfolio 
Serve as a strategic advisor to the senior leadership team on key administrative functions initiatives 
Promote cross-functional collaboration, process improvements and operational excellence 
Compensation:
Based on job duties and requirements, this position is placed in pay grade 50 with a full-time, annual salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 plus a performance incentive structure. The actual compensation package will be based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
Requirements
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree is required. Master's degree in business, human resources, healthcare administration or related field is preferred.
a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience providing leadership across human resources and compliance.
Demonstrated experience navigating employment law, credentialing standards, and healthcare regulatory environment.
Familiarity with principles of corporate governance and non-profit board management.
