What will you be doing as an Account Manager?
As a key member of an established Sales & Operation team, your key responsibilities will be maintaining and developing client relationships, demonstrating system knowledge, effective contract management of existing accounts and generation of new sales within the Lincolnshire/Humber region. You will be selling, demonstrating and promoting our range of specialty water and process chemicals and monitoring technologies.
What will your week look like?
* Working with customers and prospects to meet desired sales and service needs.
* Develop and execute customer account sales plans, coordinating all proposal activity, from generating quotes to processing PO’s.
* Manage customer satisfaction and escalate customer concerns for resolution.
* Coordinate support resources to maintain and grow existing and win / close new accounts.
* Participate in plant visits, audit/survey and any trial working. Where required, conduct appropriate water analysis/testing and report.
* Maintain the integrity of strategies and implementation of sales / marketing programs to achieve sales goals within your assigned territory/market.
* Meet or exceed assigned quotas (activities and results).
* Driving the right behaviours around Safety, Teamwork, Company strategies and initiatives.
What experience would be ideal?
Essential to this role is the ability to build and develop relationships with customers whilst supporting multiple managers and teams.
You will have outstanding communication across all platforms and customer service skills that are a natural extension of your personality.
Our most successful Account Managers are motivated, goal orientated and well organised, with excellent time management and prioritisation abilities.
You should be able to demonstrate excellent project management experience and a track record of exceeding targets.
Your background will be Account Management or sales in a water/process treatment company or industrial plant.
What are the essential skills?
* Technically qualified in Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical or similar Engineering environment - or time-served in the industry
* Strong value delivery and selling strategies with a track record of winning new accounts and developing markets.
* Knowledge of specialty water and process chemicals and associated monitoring technologies
* Enthusiastic, responsible team player with positive attitude for product and personal learning.
* A UK driving licence is a must
