Join the esteemed Theatres team at a leading Private Hospital in London in the role of Senior Theatre Scrub Practitioner. This position offers a perfect opportunity for an experienced Scrub Nurse/Practitioner dedicated to delivering top-tier patient care and advancing their career.

Responsibilities:

Excel in collaborative teamwork within the Theatre Suite and across the hospital.
Contribute as a cohesive team member in all theatre suite areas.
Efficiently manage departmental resources.
Educate, train, and develop fellow staff members.
Ensure rigorous equipment checks and prompt fault reporting.
Adhere to infection prevention and aseptic practice guidelines.
Prepare patients for invasive procedures in both anaesthetics and surgery.
Provide initial urgent or emergency care when required.
Follow procedures for supply use and ordering as directed by the line manager.
Lead and guide individual teams, ensuring adherence to the "5 steps to safer surgery," and oversee the safe flow of surgeries.
Requirements:

Registered Nurse with recognized postgraduate theatre qualifications or equivalent experience, OR Registered ODP with Cert HE/Diploma.
Evidence of continuous professional development.
Profound post-registration skills.
Solid knowledge of theatre practice.
Previous experience in Orthopaedics and Urology.
Proficiency in a wide range of surgical procedures.
Specialized operating theatre care knowledge.
Exceptional English communication skills, written and spoken.
Flexibility to adapt to shifting schedules per departmental needs.
Willingness to participate in the on-call rota when required.
Ability to perform effectively under pressure.
