Service Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client, Northamptonshire Police and Fire & Rescue Service, for a Culture and Insight Researcher. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract, working 37 hours per week from Monday to Friday.

Umbrella Rate: £23.57 per hour
Client: Northamptonshire Police and Fire & Rescue Service
Location: Darby House, Northamptonshire
About the Role:
As a Culture and Insight Researcher, you will work across Northamptonshire Police, Northamptonshire Fire & Rescue Service, and the Office of the Police, Fire, and Crime Commissioner (OPFCC) to develop and implement mechanisms for gathering insights from the public and internal staff. Your research will inform service improvements and drive positive cultural change within these organisations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct high-quality research to support organisational learning and decision-making.
Utilise various methodologies to gather qualitative and quantitative data.
Design and execute innovative engagement methods, including interviews, focus groups, and workshops.
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and external partners.
Produce formal reports and presentations to convey research findings and recommendations.
Monitor and evaluate the impact of cultural change initiatives.Skills and Experience Required:
Degree level education or comparable experience in research methods.
Strong background in research methodology, design, and statistical analysis.
Proficiency in using statistical software such as SPSS.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Experience in managing and delivering complex research projects.
Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines and handle competing demands.Desirable Criteria:
