KEY ACCOUNTS / ADMIN ASSISTANT - OFFICE BASED - THETFORD - £26,500 + DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE - MONDAY TO FRIDAY

About the Role

We are looking for a Key Accounts Assistant to support the Key Accounts department with various accounting and administrative tasks. Reporting directly to the Key Accounts Office Manager, the ideal candidate will have an understanding of accounting principles, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience and contribute to the financial success of the company.

· Salary £26,500 + depending on experience

· Full-time permanent

· 42.5hrs/wk including 30 minute paid lunch break

Responsibilities and Duties

· Submit invoices accurately and efficiently

· Accurately record and maintain a log of Invoices and Credit memos

· Credit Control function for key accounts

· Investigate and resolve shortage disputes and chargeback claims

· Provide support in resolving Sales Ledger queries and other accounting discrepancies or issues that arise

· Assist with general financial duties, such as data entry, analysis, and document management.

· Respond to internal and external enquiries related to accounting

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth workflow and accurate financial information

· Ad-hoc administration duties such as answering phone calls, processing orders, internal and external communications, and information coordination

What you’ll need

· Previous experience in a similar role

· Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills

· Experience using third party portals and Epicor ERP systems is desired but not essential

· Proficient in using Microsoft Excel

· Good communication skills, both written and verbal

· Ability to prioritise tasks and work within strict time frames

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

· Friendly and enthusiastic

· Well organised and diligent

· Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
