Job Duties:

Supporting teachers in delivering lessons and educational activities
Assisting in the preparation of teaching materials
Providing one-to-one support for students with learning difficulties
Supervising students during class and break times
Helping to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment

Required Qualifications:

GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths
Relevant teaching assistant qualification or experience

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths

Experience:

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable

Knowledge and Skills:

Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Understanding of child development and learning processes

Preferred Qualifications:

Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

Working hours may vary, including some evenings and weekends for events or meetings
Potential exposure to challenging behaviour from students
Regular standing and walking during class sessions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
