About the Role:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Manager Social Worker to join our Children In Our Care team in Durham. This role involves leading and managing a team of social workers responsible for providing support and interventions to children and young people in care.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Children In Our Care team, including allocation of cases, supervision, and support of staff.
Providing leadership and guidance to social workers in delivering high-quality services to children and young people in care.
Conducting regular supervision and performance reviews of team members, and supporting their professional development.
Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to children in care.
Working collaboratively with partner agencies, including local authorities, schools, health services, and foster carers, to coordinate support and services for children and young people.
Monitoring and reviewing care plans to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people in care.Requirements:

Qualified Social Worker with registration.
Substantial experience working with children and families within a social work setting.
Experience in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably within a children's services team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues and partner agencies.
Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to children's services and safeguardingBenefits:
