Expleo are looking for an Electrical Infrastructure Project Engineer to join a green energy / sustainability project for one of our automotive clients to help them achieve their aim of net zero. Using renewable energy sources such as Solar and Wind, you will help shape the future of their current energy infrastructure as part of a £1 Billion investment, whilst helping to potentially create a blueprint for the future of the automotive industry.
This role can be offered on either a permanent or long term contract basis
Outline and Responsibilities:
* Electrical technical and Project management support for infrastructure projects including large scale renewable energy generation, storage and distribution.
* Development of project proposals, with detailed technical, financial, and strategic consideration. Working within a cross functional team of commercial, legal, and technical expertise.
* Project delivery, demonstrating control of project deliverable obligations by timely and accurate reporting.
* Management of contractors, ensuring safety compliance, cost/time co-ordination and compliance of work.
Experience and Qualifications Required:
* We are interested to hear from engineers with experience in both renewable energy and high-volume manufacturing sectors.
* Qualified to degree level in applicable field, or with substantial industry experience.
* Detailed knowledge of low voltage electrical distribution systems and experience in delivery of such projects.
* Understanding of medium voltage (11kV) electrical networks preferred.
* Project management and proposal/specification development experience.
* Management of on-site contractor activities.
* Excellent inter-communication and report writing skills.
