We are seeking an Electrical Estimator to join our clients' team. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience as a lead estimator, specifically pricing electrical packages in the range of £1 million to £4 million. The position is office-based and requires local presence.
Responsibilities:
* Analyse project blueprints and specifications to estimate electrical costs.
* Determine material quantities, labour hours, and subcontractor costs.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to refine estimates.
* Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and bid proposals.
* Evaluate project profitability and recommend adjustments as needed.
* Stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and regulations.
* Maintain accurate records of estimates and bid submissions.
Requirements:
* 5-10 years of experience as an electrical estimator, preferably in the specified project size range.
* Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
* Valid Electrical qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (advantageous).
* Local presence for office-based work.
Salary Range: £53,000 - £57,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
