Established in 1995, Bridgewater Family Planning Service Association Ltd is a friendly, family run business, that offers male vasectomy procedures for patients within hospitals in Cheshire, Wirral and Warrington.
Our counsellors work within these three locations and work on a bank basis, Friday, Saturday or Sundays (Thursday may also become an option soon).
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, friendly, reliable Counsellor to join our team as soon as possible.
Please note- to be considered for the role you must have a nursing background.
Are you the right person for us?
Previous experience as a Counsellor is desirable, although not necessary, as full training will be given
You must have previous medical experience
What will your role as a Vasectomy Counsellor look like?
* Deliver high-quality services to patients following clinical guidance and service specifications
* Counselling patients as well as their partners
* Ensuring patients are appropriately selected for Vasectomy treatment, chaperoning surgical procedures and providing administrative support
