Inventory Controller
Due to increased requirements in the warehouse side of the business, our client is looking to recruit a skilled and experienced quality controller to cover the following qualities:
* Customer service focused.
* Experience in a warehouse environment
* Ability to complete paperwork.
* Stock/inventory experience
* High attention to detail
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Helpful and considerate team player who is also able to work on own initiative.
* Must be numerate and literate.
Daily duties will include:
* General warehouse duties
* Use of handheld scanners
* Scanning palletised stock including bottled/canned drinks and pet foods (some goods could weigh up to 25 kilos).
* Checking customer orders to ensure accuracy prior to delivery.
* Handling damaged stock and reporting it.
* Good customer service levels
* Hand-balling goods (when required)
* A keen eye to detail and awareness is needed due to the fast paced environment
Previous experience of working within an FMCG warehouse and distribution environment is key to this position.
Working days Monday to Friday (42 hours per week) but a level of flexibility is required to meet customer needs.
Safety Boots and hi-vis vest are essential.
