My client are a well-established residential developer and contractor delivering predominantly new build housing and extra care schemes across the North West.

With a strong pipeline of diverse and exciting schemes, they are seeking an experienced and talented Project Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. You'll be working on a number of newly secured projects across the Manchester area.

As a Project Quantity Surveyor your primary responsibilities will include:

Efficiently manage project costs from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budgets and financial objectives.
Oversee the procurement process, including tendering, negotiation, and contract administration.
Proficiently handle various contract forms, including JCT D&B, management contracting, and NEC, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and value enhancement.
Effectively manage subcontractor relationships, including procurement, payment applications, and dispute resolution.
Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with cost, contracts, and procurement.
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, forecasts, and cost analysis.Requirements:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in main contracting, with a focus on similar schemes exceeding £10 million in value.
Comprehensive understanding of traditional, steel frame, and timber frame construction methods.
Proficiency in handling various contract forms, including JCT D&B, management contracting, and NEC (desirable).
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.Benefits:
