Internal Sales Administrator
Location: Irlam
Salary:  Up to £35,000
We are pleased to announce we are retained with a long-established Mechanical Engineering business who have an impressive range of products and services, selling into fascinating customers including big names into the aerospace, nuclear and defence industries.

Operating internationally, providing outstanding technical customer service, on-time deliveries and continued innovation, they are now looking to strengthen their internal sales team to support the sales effort across their existing customer base and be fundamental to securing new business.

You will be working in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere with a company that offers long term stability and job security.

It would be highly beneficial (but not essential) if you had knowledge or previous work experience of working within a  Pumps, valves, seals or an  instrumentation background

Principal Accountabilities:

Field incoming calls from customers – whether enquiry, progress for example
Deal with incoming e-mails from customers 
Provide sales support to customers including technical help, product specification, quotes and order progress.
Provide support to Business Development Managers (BDM’s) in terms of quoting, literature support, order-progress, pricing.
Liaise with Business Development Managers’s when specifying products for applications.
Liaise with production to ensure quoted deliveries are possible.
Provide leads and information to BDM’s regarding potential customers that have called/e-mailed.
Arrange a customer/sales appointment for the BDM based on the company diary and discussions with BDM.
Follow-up on quotations for agreed products/customers, undertaking negotiation to ensure sale is accomplished.
Provide feedback on follow-ups to BDM’s.
Process orders checking order data and requested deliveries, liaising with production to ensure requests can be met and providing feeding back to customers and BDM’s if any issues crop-up.
Maintain customer data on Sage CRM.
Maintain a clear and useable daybook, including dates, contacts, products
