The Client
Our client are a busy Altrincham based accountancy practice with a large portfolio of clients, they are looking to add an experienced Client Manager to their team.
The Role of Client Manager
* Managing a diverse client portfolio and overseeing the preparation of general accounting services for a varied client portfolio
* Oversight of preparation and submission of financial reports.
* Oversee the workflow for the wider team and take responsibility for the mentoring and coaching of junior staff and their continued professional development.
* Problem solving and communication with HMRC and other relevant third parties.
* Representing the firm at client-facing meetings and events.
* Presenting to the Partners at board meetings.
* All such other tasks as may be deemed appropriate to support the Partners and their portfolio.
* Proactively investigate and identify opportunities for the firm and clients and be confident in presenting and discussing them with the Partners.
* Represent the firm at business and networking events, developing contacts and relationships with new and prospective clients.
Skill & Experience Required for the Client Manager role
* ACCA/ICAEW qualified or equivalent or qualified by experience (Minimum 5 years practice experience).
* Current working knowledge of UK tax laws and accounting standards applicable to small business
* Strong knowledge of computerised accounting systems
