Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer.
Location: Oldham, Greater Manchester.
Salary / Benefits £24k - £36k + Training + Benefits
Our client is a leading provider of Water Hygiene / Legionella management services in the North West across Social Housing, Healthcare, Industrial, Commercial, and Educational sites. They are now looking to take on a Water Hygiene Engineer to join their friendly and longstanding team. The successful candidate will have experience delivering bespoke L8 compliance services on a mixed portfolio of sites, ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Manchester, Rochdale, Stockport, Bury, Blackburn, Burnley, Preston, Blackpool, Southport, St Helens, Birkenhead, Liverpool, Warrington, Macclesfield, Chester, Crewe, Buxton, Huddersfield, Bradford, Keighley, Leeds, Wakefield.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Will have extensive hands-on experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer for an established Water Hygiene / Legionella company.
" Able to demonstrate excellent practical knowledge of HSG 274 /ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Able to work to strict guidelines.
" IT literate.
" Familiar with onsite logbooks.
" Work well both independently and as part of a team.
The Role:
" Water sampling.
" Temperature monitoring.
" TMV servicing and failsafe testing.
" Carrying out closed system sampling and analysis.
" Closed system dosing.
" Showerhead cleans and descales.
" Ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Updating onsite logbooks upon completion of work.
