Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a dedicated Maths teacher for our client, a secondary school in Oldham for the 2024/2025 Academic Year.

With a recent Ofsted rating of ‘good’ this is a great opportunity to join a thriving school and continue in their success of recent record-breaking GCSE results.

The school are looking for a dynamic Maths teacher to join their friendly team of 5, to teach to both KS3 and KS4 students of varying abilities.

You will report directly to the head of department, to help plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons to students, and mark any work set.

You will help to monitor students’ progression and any areas for concern and assist in creating development plans.

The school are happy to accept applications from both well experienced teachers and ECT’s.

Requirements

QTS or equivalent
Confident teaching up to GCSE level
Excellent behaviour management skills
Versality to teach to all ability levels and class sizes.
Passion for Mathematics

This is a full-time temp-to-perm position, whereby you will be employed by Teaching Personnel for an initial 16 weeks before transferring to a permanent contract with the school. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
