Job Overview:
We're collaborating with a leading manufacturer in the consumer goods sector to source a capable Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of their manufacturing facility. The chosen candidate will diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical breakdowns, prioritising adherence to stringent health and safety regulations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Rapidly diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical breakdowns to minimise production downtime.
Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on various machinery and equipment.
Manage inventory of components and fittings, initiating reorders as necessary.
Operate the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) proficiently.
Complete Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks promptly.
Maintain accurate service records and history reports.
Undertake any other reasonable duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager.Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications:
City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 or above in Engineering
17th or 18th Edition is desirable
Minimum of 3 years' experience in an engineering role
Familiarity with Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) machinery.Package on offer:
* Salary - £37,000 - £38,000
* Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday - 8 am - 4:30 pm Friday 8 am - 1:30 pm
* Pension: Employer contributions up to 4.5%
