Proseal UK Ltd designs and manufactures high quality tray sealing and conveying systems for the food industry and has manufacturing facilities in the UK, North America, and Australia. As our Manufacturing Production Manager – you will report to our Head of Production and Supply Chain, and your role as Manufacturing Production Manager will be to lead our internal manufacturing team ensuring best practice and improving procedures using modern manufacturing principals.

On any give day as Manufacturing Production Manager you will:

* Manage our manufacturing team delivering best practice results, added value and continuous improvements.

* Lead team members, and ensuring staffing levels, recruitment, training, appraisals, attendance, issues, and daily supervision are efficient.

* Set departmental objectives and KPIs

* Deliver process improvements on Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)

* Prepare/own Manufacturing budget.

* Embed a safety culture mindset within the team

* Own, manage and develop all labour planning and manufacturing capacity planning tools.

Requirements for the role

* 5 or more years in a leadership or direct supervisory role in a manufacturing/assembly environment

* Level 5 technical qualification or equivalent engineering/manufacturing degree/NVQ or qua

* Ability to streamline or implement structures and roles that boost speed and efficiency while supporting rapidly shifting business demands.

* Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and legal guidelines

* Motivate and develop a team

* Knowledge of health and safety regulations and their application in a manufacturing environment

* Experience of implementing quality systems to improve production efficiency
