As the driving force behind the daily operations of the service centre, the selected individual will play a pivotal role in steering the team towards excellence. Candidates must possess a robust engineering background, coupled with a proven track record in the repair and maintenance of pumps, valves, and compressors. This role demands a leader with a commanding knowledge of pump systems, someone who can confidently navigate the challenges of managing a dynamic service environment.
The role calls for a candidate with a rich blend of managerial and leadership skills, honed through substantial experience in a similar capacity. The ability to inspire, motivate, and guide a team is essential, ensuring that the service centre operates with efficiency and professionalism.

To thrive in this role, candidates should exhibit:
- Responsible for all workshop activities/employees, goods inwards and company processes
- Approve all workshop reports and conduct toolbox talks
- Manage field service requirements, work scopes, method statements, equipment and quotations.
- Oversee the standards of compliance and Health and Safety, including all documentation of such and quality assurance.
- Quoting and estimating of jobs and performing of contract reviews
- Coordinating of shifts
- Overseeing the production schedule according to work order specifications
- Ensuring risks and hazards in activities, are undertaken in the role are acknowledged and conducted in accordance with processes and procedures in place.
-Identify, implement and monitor continuous improvement initiatives across the service centre
- Responsible for achieving budgets and providing monthly forecasting reports

A solid educational foundation in engineering is highly desirable, with an HNC/HND qualification or equivalent providing a testament to your technical prowess.
