FinTech RS are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Parts Manager based in Aberdeen. Our client is ideally looking for the successful candidate to start ASAP on a full time, temporary to permanent basis.
‍Acting as the focal point for the Parts Department, the role will take the lead on purchasing of parts and accessories, maximising sales opportunities with customers, and maintaining effective processes.

Main Duties include:
* Ordering parts from various suppliers as per part requisitions sheets from Technicians, ensuring the best price has been sourced
* Ordering all consumables for stock i.e. oils, nuts, bolts, dusters, gloves, vinyl, etc, and maintaining sufficient levels (adequate, not excessive)
* Make inquiries with part numbers when only truck details have been given
* Booking in parts that arrive from suppliers / booking out parts from store for Technicians
* Liaising with external Part Reps and placing necessary orders
* Contacting suppliers in the event of incorrect deliveries and completing returns notes
* Completing warranty sheets
* Dealing with customer’s requests for parts, pricing accordingly and emailing quotations. Maintaining quotation register and chasing up responses.
* Ensure all customers orders are processed promptly
* Managing and training up of Stores Person, delegating workload
* Completing yearly stock takes
* Organising parts sales promotions to boost sales – coordinating with other departments
* Review with service team on all open jobs and what parts are required, and report any work in progress to management
* Ordering number plates for newly registered trucks
* Attending internal and customer meetings where necessary

Suitable Candidates should have the following:
* Demonstrable experience in a similar role
* Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail
* Ability to communicate in a clear and professional manner
