Astute's Power team is partnered with a leading Energy & Utilities company to recruit a Mobile Electromechanical Technician to cover sites in Hampshire, Berkshire and South London.
The vital Mobile Electromechanical Technician role comes with a salary of £46,500 - £49,000 (depending on experience) + company Van/Car + other excellent benefits.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Contracts Manager you will be responsible for:
Carrying out planned & reactive maintenance on Energy Centres which will involve working on steam systems, boilers, LTHW systems & all other associated plant.
Ensure steam and hot water boilers are maintained as per OEM specifications
Performing fault finding & diagnostics on plant & equipment.
Conducting routine servicing, installation & commissioning activities when required.
Always Ensuring adherence with Health & Safety.
Completing service reports & associated paperwork.
Other duties as required.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
A full UK driving licence
Ideally apprentice trained with an NVQ level 3 in a relevant engineering discipline (electrically biased will be advantageous)
Boiler Operations Accreditations Scheme (BOAS)
Wiring regulations qualifications (17th/18th edition)
HV Operational Safety certificate
F-Gas Please note, the above are not a necessity (apart from the driving licence), these are desired.
Personal skills and prior experience
The Mobile Electromechanical Technician role would suit someone who has:
A flexible approach to working as this will require call out work on weekends
Proven experience in a similar Service / Maintenance Technician role working on steam plant & the associated equipment.
A background working in an industrial environment such as in Energy Centres, Power Stations, Chemical Plants etc.
Royal/Merchant Navy Marine Engineers would be suitable to apply for this role
