This is a fantastic career forming opportunity to join an international organisation who have chosen Glasgow as the site for their new Global Business Centre. A centre that will form the core of their back-office functions world-wide, offering outstanding career progression prospects.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Month end close and financial reporting, Lease accounting, Balance sheet control, Treasury accounting, Intercompany accounting, supporting internal and external audit
Delivery of operational activities and processes
Conducting review and analysis of financial transactions, processes, and reports
Ensuring that general ledger processes and procedures are in accordance with global accounting policy and procedures
Responding to queries from in-country stakeholders and Business Control Team
Monitoring the teams service levels and targets, ensuring these are met

Essential Skills & Experience will include:

University degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
ACCA or equivalent qualification
Strong analytical skills and in-depth financial accounting competence, including understanding of IFRS
Project management skills - with experience in leading small projects and implementing process improvements
Proven ability to build relationships and maintain effective communication with stakeholders and team members
