A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Supply Chain Planner to join a well-established business, based in Andover Hampshire.

Location - Andover, Hampshire
Salary - Circa £30,000 + work from home 1 day per week + benefits
Job type - Permanent
Working Hours - Mon-Thu 8:30am to 5:15pm & Fri 8:30am to 4:00pm

The main purpose of the Supply Chain Planner role is to support the management of an efficient Supply Chain team, striving to achieve world-class supply chain performance. Assisting with the implementation of strategies to support the company in all aspects of running a proficient global sourcing and supply chain operation.

Key skills required for a Supply Chain Coordinator:

*

Ideally have Supply Chain experience and worked as a Supply Chain Planner or similar. However, we are open to those who are willing to learn and are keen to move into this type of role.

*

Good working knowledge of MS Office including Excel

*

Experience in using ERP / MRP systems.

*

Strong communication and organisational skills.

*

Excellent analytical and planning skills.

This role would suit an individual with experience in any of the following roles; customer service, supply chain, purchasing, buying, procurement, inventory control, stock control, demand planning or supply chain planning

Key responsibilities for a Supply Chain Coordinator:

*

Support the Implementation of processes and procedures to optimise stock holding.

*

Management and control of Direct Import and Warehouse processes and procedures

*

Support the development and implementation of cost-effective and integrated supply chain management solutions.

*

Support the demand management objectives.

*

Support the development of relationships with key customer supply teams.

*

Support the supply chain Manager in implementing and maintaining procedures and processes necessary to drive continual improvement.

*

Ensure administrative policies and procedures are followed including accurate maintenance of supplier and parts master records and supporting databases.

*

Maintenance of safety stock levels in line with agreed tolerances and policies.

*

Management of accurate due dates within the MRP system module

*

Servicing customers with weekly stock trackers detailing all their inbound scheduling against current forecasts and overall stock profile.
