Commercial Dispute Resolution Lawyer

My client is searching for Employment Lawyer or Commercial Dispute Resolution Lawyer to join their offices in Margate, Kent or Canterbury on a hybrid basis.

My client are seeking a solicitor or chartered legal executive with at least three years’ post qualification experience to join their busy and widely respected litigation team. You will be based in Margate or one of the firms Canterbury offices.

Benefits

• Working from home is often effective and my client believe in its benefits, so have a permanent and occasional working from home policy. You would be welcome to propose up to 40% home working.
• The position is either full or part time and will be permanent. If you work full time your hours will be Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Your salary will be negotiable depending on experience.
• You may be considering re-locating to the East Kent coast or one of the inland towns and villages. If so, my client will pay the buying and selling conveyancing fees of a successful candidate and assist with introductions to their extensive network of local estate agents.
• Thanet and Canterbury has a wide range of excellent schools that they can tell you about if you have school age children. If you would be moving away from the capital to take up post, Margate is on the high-speed train line to London.

The ideal candidates will fall into two categories and have the below experience.

• My client have identified that they have a particular need for an employment law or commercial litigation expert.
• Applications from dispute resolution all-rounders will be equally welcome, so if you count property law, including landlord and tenant, probate and will disputes, or boundary disputes amongst your specialisms, my client would also like to hear from you.
• You will have a sound knowledge of litigation processes and the role will involve frequently issuing court proceedings and attending court.
• My client will expect you to assist with the investigation and litigation of complex cases and have experience of drafting court documents, witness statements and instructions to experts.
• The successful candidate will possess excellent client care and inter-personal skills and operate with integrity, demonstrating empathy and intuition.
