Red Sky Personnel is seeking a Bid Manager on behalf of a leading global construction and civil engineering company. We are looking for a dynamic individual to grow our Business Development Department in the UK and Ireland.
The Role
The Bid Manager will:
* Coordinate the entire bid process to produce high-quality, competitive bids.
* Develop tender strategies, programmes, and win strategies.
* Manage tender team members and in-house stakeholders.
* Handle formal communication with clients.
* Ensure compliance with tender instructions and strategies.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate end-to-end bid processes.
* Develop tender programmes and bid plans.
* Support client relationships and manage communications.
* Write and review detailed bid responses.
* Implement company tender processes.
* Understand business environment and capabilities to inform tender strategies.
* Contribute to business development database.
Key Skills and Competencies
* Experience as a bid manager in construction, architectural, or design fields.
* Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
* Strong organisational skills; self-driven and proactive.
* Ability to manage and motivate a team.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficient in MS Office.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field.
* PMP, PMQ, or equivalent project management certification.
