We’re currently working on the behalf of a friendly, dynamic company seeking a new Assistant Accountant. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of duties including:
* Daily bookkeeping using Xero
* Processing sales invoices, receipts and payments
* Managing the creditor and debtor ledgers
* Checking and reconciling company bank statements
* Posting of all supplier invoices ensuring correct cost centres
* Reconciling care client’s expenditure
* Weekly reconciliation of timesheets hours to care hours provided and agency invoices
* Monthly payroll preparation and processing
* Dealing with finance queries as they arise
* Ensuring that financial procedures are adhered to throughout the company
* Working closely alongside and taking direction from the Financial Controller
The company would love a motivated, self-starter who is looking for a role with room to grow further with the company. Ideally you will have studied AAT Level 4 or similar, however they can be flexible regarding this. Previous experience using Xero would be highly beneficial. The company can consider those looking at 4 or 5 days a week
