Our client based in Wincanton is looking for a CNC Machinist. If you have experience this is great however, they can offer the opportunity to train a candidate providing you can bring to them some transferable skills.
This would include:
Some experience of operating machines in a manufacturing environment
Able to read an engineering drawing
Basic maths and numerical skills
A general engineering background
Able to demonstrate previous experience of working to tight tolerances
Working with metalThis role will be programming, setting and operating Fanuc control CNC machines. You will be producing bespoke components to a high qualify for the customers.
This role is working Monday – Thursday 7.00 – 16.00 and Friday 7.00 – 13.00.
This is a permanent position and the the role pays £14.00 - £17.00 an hour depending on the level of experience. If overtime is available, it is paid at time and a half.
They offer up to 25 days annual leave, paid sick leave after 6 months and private health care after 1 year
