Our client, based in a village on the outskirts of Cheltenham, is looking for an Internal Sales Executive to join their team due to company growth. This is a newly created role, joining an existing sales team to take on account management of existing clients and building new opportunities through developing relationships.

As an Internal Sales Executive you would be required to:

Be a first point of contact for a portfolio of existing clients, managing their account and ensuring potential revenue was gained wherever possible
Communicate, delivering excellent service both via email and on the telephone
Produce estimates and follow up on quotations sent out to customers, ultimately turning these into orders
Work to KPI targets and constantly strive to secure orders and earn commission
Following up incoming leads from a variety of sources and creating a pipeline of potential customers
Use the Microsoft CRM system to log all communications

We are looking for an Internal Sales Executive with:

A solid background in sales with the drive to hit targets and climb the career ladder
Ideally, but not essential, a technical or industrial background - fire or security systems for example would be a great advantage
Their own transport; simply due to company location, it isn't easily accessible via public transport
Confidence using a CRM system along with Microsoft Office suite
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build a rapport with customers quickly

This is a full-time, office-based role, 8.30am - 5.00pm Mon-Fri with opportunity for some flexible home working once fully trained. The company offers a generous commission scheme, capped at £5k in year one only, and a basic salary of up to £35,000pa depending on experience. They also offer 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and additional benefits, including a company wide bonus scheme that could yield up to an additional £2k per year.
