Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Humanities Teacher with a focus on History to join one of our well loved schools in Plymouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and educate students, with potential for future opportunities beyond this initial placement.

About the Role: As a Humanities Teacher, you will primarily teach History to Key Stage 3 students, with additional responsibilities across the Humanities subjects. You will be responsible for planning and preparing engaging lessons to ignite curiosity and facilitate learning in history.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering high-quality lessons in History and other Humanities subjects to Key Stage 3 students.
Creating engaging and differentiated lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to support their development.
Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to the overall success of the Humanities department.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in the UK.
Experience teaching History or Humanities subjects at Key Stage 3 level.
Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for History.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
