The Role:
We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team. The Fitter will be responsible for assembling and fitting metal parts to form complete units or subunits using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to determine the layout of the metal components.
- Measure and mark reference points on metal parts using templates, scribes, and squares.
- Cut, bend, fit, and assemble metal components to form complete units or subunits.
- Weld or solder metal parts together using various welding techniques.
- Inspect completed work for conformance to specifications.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Fitter or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in working with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Knowledge of electrical systems is a plus.

Contract length: 6 months
Pay: £24.00-£27.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
