Shifts Work:  Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday subject to fixed shift roster

5 shifts of 10 hours including 45minutes unpaid break

Salary:  £40,000 per annum DoE

A critical role placing the safety of our People above everything else, you will drive and deliver continuous improvement in site operational delivery including investigating accidents, near misses, and incidents that occur at the workplace.

HSE Advisor Duties:

In this role, you're responsible for daily health and safety compliance, overseeing tasks like site inductions, refresher training, tool box talks, hazard identification, risk assessments, safe system of work. Ensuring staff engagement in safety programs and coordinating hygiene team resources efficiently are priorities. Monitoring performance, maintaining compliance with policies, and upholding standards are crucial. Effective communication, training delivery, and coordination of initiatives are key. You'll also advise management, promote safety campaigns, hold scheduled meetings and maintain documentation. Proactively enhancing safety awareness, reporting incidents, and collaborating with operations are essential. Proactive contribution and participation in continuous stream of third party auditing essential. Setting a personal example of safe behaviour and assisting with related matters complete the role.

HSE Advisor Requirements:

NEBOSH Certificate
Experience in carrying out risk assessments
Have 2+ years of experience in a Health and Safety focused role
Previous experience of working within the FMCG is desirable
Food Hygiene Management Level 4 desirable
Proactive, self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook
Keen to deliver exceptional customer service
An effective motivator and mentor
Credible, and comfortable in dealing with a wide variety of stakeholders
Full UK driving license required
Must be prepared to remain on call and contactable for critical matters
